Bondville man arrested in drunken driving incident
MAHOMET – A 24-year-old Bondville man was arrested for drunken driving Tuesday after crashing his car, then taking off.
Champaign County sheriff's Sgt. Will Davis said Travis Shoudel was southbound on County Road 525 E north of 1900 N about 11:30 p.m. when he left the road to the left. He overcorrected, skidded and hit the ditch on the other side. Shoudel, who was not injured, then drove off on three flat tires, Davis said.
