Flight service celebrates 25 years
SAVOY – After 25 years of transporting vital organs, moving the terminally ill, bringing sick kids to chemotherapy in far-off hospitals and other acts of unselfishness, it's about time for LifeLine Pilots to give itself a pat on the back.
And that's what happened Saturday in a Flightstar airplane hangar when, after a meeting of its board directors, LifeLine volunteers and family members threw a surprise party for the organization and its founder.
