Relay for Life raises more than $300,000
CHAMPAIGN – The 14th annual Relay for Life brought in more than $300,000 for the American Cancer Society over the weekend, organizers said.
The overnight event, held at Centennial High School, raised a total of $301,000, up from $257,000 last year, said Hilary Wells, spokeswoman for the American Cancer Society in Champaign. The goal was $260,000.
