YMCA will go it alone
CHAMPAIGN – The Champaign County YMCA still plans to move its McKinley Family Center from its current building in the heart of Champaign to a brand new one on the city's outskirts, despite the sudden loss of its major partner in the project, Carle Foundation Hospital.
"We're going forward," YMCA Executive Director Wade Hampton vowed Thursday.
