Teen hospitalized, ticketed after crash

SAVOY – A Tolono teen remained hospitalized this morning following a single-car crash Saturday night.

Sgt. Dan Coile said Eric Heiser, 18, was driving north on First Street near the intersection with Curtis Road at 10:42 p.m. when he left the road on the right. His car hit a utility pole, snapping it, then continued north and hit one tree with his passenger side then hit a second tree head-on.
