One arrested in Champaign paintball case

CHAMPAIGN – Police arrested one Champaign man and released another following a brief standoff that diverted traffic in Champaign Thursday morning.

Blake Schroedter, 24, of the 300 block of South State Street, Champaign, was arrested for aggravated battery, according to Champaign police spokeswoman Rene Dunn.
