Market on Main a chance to shop, mingle
MAHOMET – Each Wednesday, vendors gather their home-grown, baked and crafted goods and offer them for sale at Mahomet's Market on Main, and customers buy them.
But the market is more than simple economics. Both buyers and sellers say the market is a way to acquaint themselves with their neighbors and support local food systems.
