Accident closes bridge for five hours

DANVILLE – A truck-motorcycle accident closed the Denmark Road bridge for more than five hours Monday evening.

The Danville police and fire departments were called to an accident near the bridge across Lake Vermilion at 5:01 p.m. Police officers began diverting traffic while medical personnel retrieved and transported the accident victims.
