Man receives probation for Clinton Lake accident
CLINTON – Family members of the 82-year-old victim of a boating accident on Clinton Lake two years ago are stunned that the man responsible for the accident received 30 months probation and no jail time.
Byron Thompson, 28, of Bloomington pleaded guilty in January to reckless homicide, aggravated reckless operation of a watercraft and failure to render assistance.
