Security costs at Monticello school total $8,200
MONTICELLO – The city of Monticello paid $8,200 for extra security from April 19 through June 4, after the discovery of a school shooting threat on a bathroom mirror at Monticello High School.
Superintendent of Monticello Schools Larry McNabb said he has discussed the extra costs with Monticello officials and will read a letter on the matter from Mayor Bill Mitze at the Wednesday school board meeting.
