Construction worker hurt after fall from scaffolding

CHAMPAIGN – A construction worker was injured at Memorial Stadium Friday afternoon when he fell from scaffolding on the west side of the stadium.

The worker fell 20 to 25 feet down a shaft inside a support pillar at the stadium, said Lt. Skip Frost of the University of Illinois police.
