Probation violation charge filed

DANVILLE – A 20-year-old Hoopeston man who allegedly played a role in another man's apparent drug overdose was charged in Vermilion County Circuit Court on Friday, but not on charges that he caused a drug-induced homicide.

Thomas Dalton was charged for violating his two-year probation term in a 2006 burglary case.
