Committee to look at ways to improve graduation decorum
DANVILLE – When Teresa Ard watched her son receive his Danville High School diploma about three weeks ago, she felt more like she was at a rowdy hockey game than a graduation ceremony.
Throughout the 90-minute commencement ceremony at the David S. Palmer Arena, she said, people roamed the aisles, stood in their seats– blocking others' views – and talked and yelled over the speakers.
