Six more arrested in rural drug sweep; more expected
CLINTON – Police arrested six more people in an ongoing investigation of rural drug trafficking.
Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Ben Halloran said the sweep Friday is part of Operation Pyramid, an investigation of crack cocaine and cocaine in East Central Illinois, including DeWitt, McLean, Ford, Vermilion and Champaign counties.
