First Mahomet liquor license awarded
MAHOMET – The village of Mahomet has awarded its first liquor license since voters approved alcohol sales in an April referendum.
Brooks Marsh, the owner of Mahomet IGA, received Mahomet's first liquor license Tuesday afternoon. However, he's not sure how soon his store will sell alcohol.
