CHAMPAIGN – The Champaign school district will be looking into the background of one of its new principals, after learning she was suspended from her last job.
Sheila Donis, who was hired in April as principal for Dr. Howard Elementary School, was suspended in January from her job as assistant to the superintendent of Cannelton City Schools in Cannelton, Ind., confirmed Cannelton Superintendent Al Chapman on Wednesday.
