Sheriff's deputy throws in hat for circuit clerk job

DANVILLE – A Vermilion County sheriff's deputy has joined the race for Vermilion County Circuit Clerk.

Dennis "Denny" Gardner of Ridge Farm formally announced Friday that he will run as a Republican candidate for the office in the 2008 election.
