Museum highlighting Ford County's past to open Wednesday
PAXTON– Tiny Ford County will soon have a state-of-the-art museum highlighting county history. Volunteer Bob Maney said the museum will open its doors to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The Ford County Historical Society Museum is a collaborative effort between two groups – the Paxton Foundation and the Ford County Historical Society. Back in 2001, the two groups came to a formal agreement to create a museum.
