No arrest 1 year later
CHAMPAIGN – Today is one year to the day of the discovery of two murders in Champaign, and police are making a renewed call for tips.
Jeremiah and Sue Haigh of 1702 Scottsdale Drive were found slain in their home last July 4 by Champaign police who had gone there on a "check welfare" call. Detective Nate Rath told the jurors that the married couple had both been stabbed and beaten.
