SWAT called out, but man gives up peacefully
URBANA – A Champaign man who holed up in an Urbana motel and refused to come out when Urbana police went to speak to him is likely to be sent soon to the Department of Corrections.
Daniel McElfresh, 30, who listed an address in the 300 block of East White Street, held police off for about two hours Tuesday before surrendering peacefully with no one being injured.
