Blaze guts house
DANVILLE – The owner of a house that was gutted by fire Wednesday night said he was just trying to help out a couple in need.
Danville firefighters were called to the 219 Clements Ave. around 9 p.m. Assistant Chief Tom Pruitt said the house was fully engulfed when they arrived.
