Champaign man pleads innocent to sex charge
URBANA – A Champaign man already facing attempted murder charges faces new charges stemming from a rape in Champaign in 2004.
Tony Deshawn Mann, 30, was arraigned and pleaded innocent Friday to a Class 1 felony charge of criminal sexual assault. His bond was set at $150,000 and he is due to return to court for a pretrial hearing on that charge on Aug. 14.
