Audit: Minority work force in Champaign stays at 12 percent
CHAMPAIGN – The percentage of minority employees working for the city stayed flat last year at 12 percent and remains below the city's long-term goal, the city's latest affirmative action audit shows.
None of the city's 14 department heads and top-level employees is a minority, records show, while two of the city's 12 division heads are black.
