Mahomet remote-control track open while zoning is addressed
MAHOMET – The Mahomet Village Board voted at its study session Tuesday to allow a remote-control raceway to resume operation until the track's director can work out problems with zoning.
Rick Wilson, the president of the nonprofit organization running Glitchers' RC Raceway in Mahomet, asked the board to allow racing because the shutdown was hurting business at the remote control hobby shop located on the same property.
