New location for corn processing plant still draws critics

MONTICELLO – Even after Clarkson Grain officials found a site for the El Milagro corn processing plant away from Lodge, some Piatt County residents remain opposed to the proposal.

"We still do not want industry in our backyard," said Debbie Harper, a Lodge resident and member of a citizens group opposing the project.
