Health officials take third look in two years at Vemilion Manor
DANVILLE – Officials with the Illinois Department of Public Health are investigating some possible infractions at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home, according to state officials.
Joan Darr, administrator at the county-owned nursing home, said the state department of health has a toll-free number for complaints, and that number was called and a complaint lodged against Vermilion Manor. That call prompted the department's investigation.
