Public will get chance to view proposed Savoy-MTD agreement
SAVOY – As of next week, members of the public will be able to view a proposed annexation agreement between Savoy and the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District.
The agreement lays out a phased approach for annexing the village to the MTD over the next 25 years and pertains to property south of Curtis Road, as the section of the village that lies north of Curtis Road is already in the MTD's territory.
