Farm Credit Services submits top bid for ex-Roberson site
URBANA – After a brief bidding war between a major farm lender and a Mahomet businessman, the former Roberson Transportation building in Mahomet stands to be sold to Farm Credit Services of Illinois.
The building was auctioned at a sheriff's sale this morning, with Farm Credit Services of Illinois submitting the winning bid of $2.6 million.
