Authorities checking out leads for missing southern Illinois man
Authorities are continuing to look for a southern Illinois man last seen in Champaign-Urbana and say that response, while not leading yet to his recovery, has been encouraging.
Charles Quinton, 53, of Texico, just south of Mount Vernon, had come with a friend to Champaign-Urbana on June 6. He and the friend got separated and he disappeared. The Jeep they had traveled in was towed from near Wright and Healey streets, but he was not located.
