Sketch of bank robbery suspect released
DANVILLE – With the help of witnesses, Danville police have released a sketch of the suspect in an armed robbery at the First National Bank's facility on North Vermilion Street.
The composite was drawn by a sketch artist from the Illinois State Police and was based on accounts of a witness who saw the man run across the parking lot of the Village Mall, 2917 N. Vermilion St. in Danville, and get into a vehicle driven by another man, according to Doug Miller, deputy director of the Danville Police Department. The getaway car was on the east side of the mall, Miller said.
