State Rep. Black pushes riverboat casino for Danville
SPRINGFIELD – State Rep. Bill Black, R-Danville, began circulating a letter to his colleagues on Tuesday, advocating for a new riverboat casino in his hometown.
"Would this be our first choice? No," Black said. "We would have loved to have had Honda. We would have loved to have had Dollar General. We would have loved never to have lost General Motors. But none of those happened. This may be a possibility."
