Judge recommends boot camp
URBANA – A Danville man who participated in robbing and beating a Pesotum man two years ago was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison.
Champaign County Judge Tom Difanis agreed to recommend Lavell Brigham, 25, for the Department of Corrections' boot camp program. If accepted, he could be released after participation in a rigorous 120-day military-style program.
