Sheriff puts ban on bringing liquids into courthouse
URBANA – Although he won't say why, Champaign County Sheriff Dan Walsh ordered Monday that no member of the general public may bring any liquid into the county courthouse in downtown Urbana.
"All I'm saying at this point is we have received information and based on that, it is prudent we restrict liquids inside the courthouse at this time," Walsh said about noon Monday.
