Attendance up, crime down at this year's fair festivities
URBANA – Champaign County Fair attendance was as much as 10,000 better than last year, according to a longtime staffer.
Keith Kelser, who managed the fair for more than 40 years, said Monday that attendance was in the range of 55,000 to 60,000 for the 155th annual fair.
