Keon Clark's suit against sheriff's department tossed
DANVILLE – A federal court judge has dismissed former NBA player Keon Clark's lawsuit against the Vermilion County Sheriff's Department, which alleged that officers used excessive force during a 2006 arrest.
According to records in U.S. District Court in Urbana, Judge Harold Baker dismissed the suit on Friday. Baker said Clark and his attorney, Brian King of Urbana, failed to provide the department's attorney, Michael Condon of Itasca, with discovery documents including medical records for a prior leg injury, which the suit claims was made worse by the alleged excessive force.
