State budget delay causing trouble for area school districts
With the state budget still unresolved, area school superintendents are struggling to plan this year's finances because they don't know how much state money they'll get.
Until accurate numbers are available from the state board of education, "we might as well use the budget for a doorstop," said Jay Harnack of Farmer City, superintendent for the Blue Ridge school district.
