FutureGen bill now a law
SPRINGFIELD – At a Farmersville coal mine, Gov. Rod Blagojevich signed legislation to help bring the $1.4 billion FutureGen plant to Illinois.
"After more than four years of planning and strong bipartisan support, this is the final piece of the puzzle as we are approaching FutureGen's finish line," Blagojevich stated in a written release on Monday.
