Champaign man acquitted of attempted murder charge
URBANA – A jury Wednesday acquitted Tony Deshawn Mann of trying to kill another man near King School in Urbana.
Mann, 30, whose last known address was in the 400 block of East Columbia Avenue, Champaign, was charged with attempted murder for the May 9 shooting of Robert E. Moore, 20, also known as Ellis Peacock, of Urbana.
