Man convicted of rape, robbery in 2005 case
URBANA – Anthony Harris conceded that what he did with a University of Illinois student in her apartment two years ago was "ethically wrong but not illegal."
A Champaign County jury disagreed and convicted the multiple-convicted sex offender of three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and robbery Wednesday. Harris faces up to 90 years in prison when sentenced by Judge Tom Difanis on Sept. 6.
