Jury acquits man despite DNA evidence
URBANA – A Champaign County jury Friday acquitted a former Champaign man of breaking into a Champaign home more than a year ago.
William E. Tyler, 39, had been charged with residential burglary to a home in the 500 block of South Willis Avenue on Feb. 13, 2006.
