Accused robbers told police they were ready to start shooting
URBANA – One of two Danville men accused of robbing a Champaign bank told police they were lucky there was not a shootout as they were arrested Saturday.
U.S. Magistrate Judge David Bernthal found probable cause to proceed with federal charges of armed bank robbery against Larry D. Wilson, 43, who listed an address on Griffin Street, and Ezra C. Martin, 52, who listed an address in the 900 block of North Hazel Street, both in Danville.
