Air Force ready to turn over property

RANTOUL – The Rantoul Village Board has learned that the Air Force is nearly ready to transfer deeds for property on the base to the village.

All the properties are part of or near the airport and any new development there must be in support of the airport, Village Administrator Dave Johnston told the board earlier this week.
