High temperatures, humidity spur warning of heat-related ills
With high heat and humidity making everybody uncomfortable, officials warn that it can be dangerous as well.
"The time when we have the most problems are when the body temperature, outside temperature and humidity all get to be about the same," said Dr. James Ellis, chairman of emergency services for Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
