Peace advocates gather for first crusade
DANVILLE – Walking up to the appointed destination, it looks as though a block party is about to get under way.
The street is barricaded. Three 10-by-10, pop-up canopies are set up in the shade to provide some shelter from the hot sun and musicians are ready to play. But there's no food in sight, no picnic tables, just some folding chairs and a handful of people.
