Four injured in car-ambulance collision
CHAMPAIGN – Four people were injured when a car and ambulance collided at an intersection in Champaign on Monday.
According to Champaign police spokeswoman Rene Dunn, a Pro Ambulance driven by Jennifer Wilhelm, 27, was westbound on Kirby Avenue transporting a patient with lights and sirens and had slowed at the intersection at State Street about 11 a.m. Monday.
