A pair of leggings. Gloves. And a tunic.
The fate of those items, made by Oglala Sioux elder Frank Fools Crow for the University of Illinois Chief Illiniwek costume in the early 1980s – and still in UI possession – remains up in the air, months after the university decided to retire the Chief.
