Agency answers calls for help
CHAMPAIGN – With their three children far away and medical problems mounting, Ken and Dorothy Charlton didn't know where to turn for household help.
The elderly couple's daughter finally contacted the Senior Resource Center at Family Service of Champaign County, which arranged for a home-care worker to come in twice a week. She vacuums floors, does grocery shopping and "just about anything else we need," said Ken Charlton, 75, of Champaign.
