Blaze destroys vacated house

CHAMPAIGN – A fire that destroyed a Champaign house early this morning is under investigation.

Dena Schumacher, spokeswoman for the Champaign Fire Department, said firefighters were dispatched to 1205 N. Chestnut Ave. at 2:11 a.m. today.
