UI students' information accidentally sent with e-mail
An e-mail sent Friday to about 700 University of Illinois engineering students contained a spreadsheet listing personal information, including addresses and grade point averages, of thousands of students.
The spreadsheet attached to the mass mail did not contain Social Security numbers or the students' university identification numbers.
