Monticello council hears about new garden business
MONTICELLO – A new business is coming to the site of the old Roadhouse on Market Street, and its owner told the Monticello City Council at its meeting Monday that he intends for it to look good.
"It's going to be a showplace," said Jeff Walker, who owns a garden center in Decatur and plans to open Cedar Lake Gardens in Monticello across the street from Forest Preserve Park.
